Beach body has had reduced from hour to half hour workouts each day for the past 4 days while I've been rehearsing for tonights performance at The Lyric Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue. But still going well and Herbalife24 keeping my energy up all the time......I have a long day ahead and have packed my isotonic drink - formula one shake, protein bars, multi vits and hydrate sports drink. This performing thing can be like an endurance sport!

Day two and I have to say I am amazed at how good I feel. Abs are feeling the workout but have had 'Herbalife24' Prolong protein drink during the workout which gives muscles more oxygen while you're doing strengthening work. And I could go for a little bit longer today. Not much, a few more reps that's all. Can't tell if it's just a day two thing and I'm stronger anyway. But seems good so far.

Drinking a mix of 'Strengthen and Edurance" shake right now as I write, which repairs muscles after workout. I shouldn't really say this but it tastes like cake mixture - Mmmmmmm!!!! Really really nice. Look forward to it after this beach body routine!

Also had Hydrate drink to replace lost fuilds etc. And has vitamin C. 

Main thing I did notice this morning when I got out of bed, is that my leg muscles did not feel stiff or sore. After 30 lunges I would normally have stiffness for at least a few days. 

Best of all all this Herbalife24 stuff is taken with water so really easy to use.

Today is exactly one month before I go to Mauritius on a sunny holiday, I mean gig, with Steve Sidwell and a group of talented performers to perform at a re-branding of a hotel chain.   
 

I have found a 'work out' at Fitnessmagazine.com which is really easy to follow (apart from unpheasably slim perfectly toned girl doing demos). BUT you can put in the parts of the body you want to target, how long you have and what equipment you have. Perfect. No excuses - I think. 

Started today with a formula one sport - did one hour workout then had Rebuild strength which rebuilds lean muscle afterwards. Ooh! Exciting. I am intrigued to watch what happens to my body/shape over the next month! 

 If those of you who are wondering why I am a singer talking about muscle recovery (!) then its because when I'm not singing/performing I run a business marketing health and nutrition products and there is brand spanking new sports range just out, hence the trialling. 

Probably should see the results before approaching fitness instructors to use this with their clients!

This week I have been beyond thrilled to work with the legendary Carl Davis on his brand new album soon to be released. It is a collection of nursery rhymes so beautifully written. The whole family came to the recording (his gorgeous daughter Jessie and wonderful actress and wife, Jean Boht.) We had a fun two days and now I feel part of the family!

I love to work with someone who pays such attention to detail and with Carl, there is absolutely nothing left to chance. With such a rich talent it's a joy to sing and makes my job so easy. 

Can't wait to hear the finished article - I will keep this page updated with release dates..........!!

I have been singing for over 10 years and now realise that to keep a healthy voice, it has to be a healthy body.
