Trained at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama and formerly a member of the internationally renowned a cappella group The Swingle Singers, Sarah has performed at Carnegie Hall, New York. La Scala, Milan and countless concert halls and theatres worldwide with the worlds greatest Orchestras and Conductors.
Her classical contemporary appearances, where she has performed music by Steve Reich, John Adams and Luciano Berio have included engagements at The Barbican, Queen Elizabeth Hall, The Royal Festival Hall and The Royal Albert Hall London, Theatre du Chatelet, Paris, The Lincoln Centre and The Brooklyn Opera House, New York.
Sarah has performed with The Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, The City of Birmingham Orchestra and The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, performing varied repertoires, from Cole Porter to Leonard Bernstein. Solo recordings with The London Symphony Orchestra and as part of a war time album for Carl Davis with the BBC Concert Orchestra. She has appeared as a soloist on Friday night is music night with Gary Williams and The BBC Concert Orchestra.
Sarah made her solo Proms debut performing at The Royal Albert Hall in 2016 as part of a programme of Rodgers and Hammerstein with The BBC Concert Orchestra under the baton of Keith Lockhart.
Her second album with the composer Denis King, entitled “Love is in the Room” was released in 2018.
